About Toledo Wire Products

History

Now in its third generation, Toledo Wire Products traces its roots back to I. Martin Breivik, a Norwegian immigrant who's early business ventures dealt primarily in the fabrication of coil springs and spring sets used by local and regional furniture manufacturers, stampings, and newspaper racks.

Richard Breivik, Martin's son, joined the business after serving in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict, and helped re-direct the company's focus on the manufacture of display racks, a product which helped propel its growth into the early '60s.

Ann (Breivik) Obertacz, Richard's daughter, followed her husband Ken into the family business. Together they now own and manage Toledo Wire Products, Inc. Today the family business is clearly focused on a much different type of business than the two previous generations. Ann and Ken are firmly engaged in the company's daily operations.

As Toledo Wire Products continues to grow and develop it does so with the same business practices that has always made the company successful: high quality standards, innovative problem solving ability, fair pricing and kept promises.
